The RC 300 by Boss is my dream loop station. It's what I use when I stream and need rhythm tracks on the fly. It’s got SO many options that I’m currently only using 10% of it’s brain! I don’t even know where to start here.
I’ve dabbled with loopers for a bit and I did i noticed little things that were good and bad from each. From having to double tap to stop recording the loop – to the loop time not being long enough for the riff. I started getting in to live streaming but I didn’t have nor did i want backing tracks. So i went through most of the loopers on the market hesitant to get the rc300.
I finally broke down and got the loop station and have simply been blown away by it’s fantastic response and options. And that’s not even saying it’s 3 loopers in one! SEE?! I use it to record live rhythm guitar on the fly. Like for a solo or if I simply wanna improvise.
On another setting you can even set each looper as it’s own part holder. For example when you have 2 parts in a song like verse and chorus. You can change between 2 even 3 different sections as each one stops the other.
It has a mic input for vocal loops. It has several outs for monitoring, and even inputs for a midi controller to move the channels up and down if you’re playing live so you don’t have to reach down and move the knob! It has an all on all off pedal to stop or start multiple loops as well as an expression pedal. If you’re a solo performer or singer songwriter that needs a backing track at 3 in the morning. It’s def worth the money. As i’ve said , I haven’t even scratched the surface with this looper. It’s pretty amazing! Get it here
