The Van Halen brothers' music has always been my main inspiration, practically my whole life. Growing up I mimicked all four members but Ed and Alex were the shining stars. A deeper resonance is my affinity for them as a family unit. Similar to mine, tight, loving, and tough. To me, Alex is as legendary on drums as Ed was on guitar. I practically know every nook and cranny of each album from debut to 1984. I'm grateful to have experienced their music and to be inspired by their amazing expression of life.
